James C. "Jimmy" Wolfe

Mr. James "Jimmy" C. Wolfe, age 66 of Macclenny, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017. Mr. Wolfe was born in Lake City and grew up in Baker County. He was a 1968 graduate of Baker County High School. Mr. Wolfe was a United States Marine Corps veteran, a member of the NRA, and a retired Classification Specialist with the Florida Department of Corrections. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Macclenny and will be remembered as a kind-hearted man who was willing to help anyone in need. In his free time, he enjoyed working in his yard, watching movies and reading. He was also an avid Florida Gator fan. He is survived by his wife of thirty six years: Kathy Jo Wolfe; son: Kaleb Wolfe of Macclenny; brother: Robert (Bennice) Wolfe of Live Oak; and numerous other family members. A celebration of life will be held 11:00 am Friday, April 28 2017 in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home with Rev. Don Thompson officiating.
