James Andrew Parker

Mr. James Andrew Parker, age 62 of Macclenny, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017. A native of Blakely, Georgia, Mr. Parker had lived in Baker County for the last ten years. He loved God and Country and was a proud United States Army veteran. Mr. Parker was a hardworking man who loved his job, working as a bulldozer operator for many years. He enjoyed going fishing and taking long car rides and meeting new people. He will be remembered as a selfless, kindhearted man who was known to help anyone who was in need. Mr. Parker was loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his sisters: Mavis Ulmer of Bainbridge, GA, Emma (Eddie Graziani) Dean of Macclenny, Kaye Slay of Blakely, GA, and Barbara (Carl) Hucks of Conway, SC. Numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Arthur T. and Cora L. Daniels Parker and brothers: Anvie Parker, Arthur Parker, and Madison Parker. A celebration of his life will be held 11:00am, September 9, 2017 at First Assembly of God Church in his hometown of Blakely, GA.
