Mr. Jack L. Richendollar Sr., age 61 of Highland, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2017. Born in Starke, to the late George and Daphine G. Richendollar, he was a lifelong resident of Bradford County. He was a United States Army Veteran and a retired corrections officer, having been employed by the Lawtey Correctional Institution for twenty five years. Mr. Richendollar enjoyed going fishing and hunting and will be remembered for his quick wit and keen sense of humor. He believed in "family first" and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his son: Jack (Cheyenne) Richendollar Jr. of Highland; daughters: Sabrina (Daryl) Griffis of Glen St. Mary, Jerri (Chris) Davis of Newport News, VA, Missy (John) Strickland of Highland, and Sharon (Richard) Ivins of Highland; brother: Gregory Griffis of Baldwin; sisters: Jeannie Hart and Geneva Rhoden, both of Macclenny; grandchildren: Cotey Smith, DJ Griffis, Sheldon Griffis, Trussie, Trustin, and Taja, Braden Strickland, Arielle, Hannah Rivers, Briar Miller, Kayla Ivins, Hunter Ivins, Levi Ivins, Wayden Richendollar, and Shylin Richendollar; and the mother of his children: Mindy Richendollar of Lawtey. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Jeffrey, James, and Johnny; and sister: Jo Evans Heath. A celebration of his life will be held 11:00am, Saturday, September 30, 2017 in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny with Brother Jeremy Crawford officiating.
