Mr. Henry Dave Rhoden, age 61 of Macclenny, passed away at St. Vincent's Riverside on Monday, April 15, 2019 with his family by his side.

He was born in Lake City on October 4, 1957 to Mr. Henry Seaf Rhoden and the late Mrs. Mary Opal (Williams) Rhoden. He spent his entire life in Baker County.

Mr. Dave spent 17 years working for Sanderson Pipe. In his free time, loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed vacationing and going on cruises. When he couldn't be outside, Dave enjoyed watching television, especially wrestling and also playing scratch-off tickets.

Mr. Dave will be remembered for his sense of humor and his kind heart. He loved to aggravate his grandkids and enjoyed talking to people. His family meant the most to him.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Mary Opal (Williams) Rhoden.

He leaves behind his loving wife: Mrs. Joyce (Harvey) Rhoden of Macclenny; sons: Jason (Leawona) Rhoden of Cuyler and Richard (Amanda) Rhoden of Macclenny; daughters: Shannon (David) Daniels and Amy (Michael Ray) Johnson all of Macclenny; father: Henry S. Rhoden of Baxter; brothers: Thomas (Terry) Rhoden of Macclenny, Joe Rhoden and Rowe (Rita) Rhoden all of Macclenny; sister: Gloria (Duane) Chesser of Folkston, Georgia; 12 grandchildren; 5 great- grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 1:00 PM and services will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny.
