Gregory Dale Wolfe

Mr. Gregory Dale Wolfe, 56 of Glen St. Mary passed away Friday, October 9, 2020 at the Custead Care Center in Orange Park. Gregory was born on February 21, 1964 to the late Mr. Lawrence “Sonny” Wolfe and Mrs. Barbara (Flanders) Wolfe Mick. Mr. Gregory had resided the last twenty years in Baker county, previously residing in the Jacksonville area. He worked as a groundskeeper for Inspire Communities LLC in Jacksonville, where he was well recognized by his peers for his dedication and loyalty to his job. Gregory was a well-rounded musician, most notably playing the guitar, but also the piano, bass, harmonica, and others. He loved to be around people and make them laugh and never had an ill word to speak of anyone. He was also an avid Florida Gator fan. Gregory was a member of Whitehouse Assembly of God. He also dressed up as Santa Claus at Christmas time at St. Catherine’s in Jacksonville.

Gregory was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Rae Wolfe of Glen St. Mary; sons: Brent Wolfe of Waycross and Jacksonville and Darrin Wolfe of Glen St. Mary; step-son: Michael (Jessica) Suppa of Texas; step-daughters: Sandy (Cameron) George of Vero Beach and Angela (Troy) Callahan of Glen St. Mary; mother: Barbara Mick of Jacksonville; six grandchildren; brother: Larry (Susan) Wolfe of Jacksonville; sister: Pam Doenges of Jacksonville; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 2:00 PM at First Assembly of God Macclenny with Rev. Joshua Johns officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. He will be laid to rest after the conclusion of services at Woodlawn Cemetery.
