Gregory "Greg" M Combs

Mr. Gregory "Greg" Mitchael Combs age 63 of Sanderson, Florida, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016. A life long resident of Baker County, Owner of Chalker Branch Construction Inc, member of Dawkins Masonic Lodge # 60. Founder and Pastor of Baxter Community Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, building houses, and anything to do with his church, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife 38 years, Julie Brinson Combs, sons, Charles Gregory (LaDonna), Jeremiah (Kimberly) Combs, and Robert Digsby all of Sanderson. Grandsons, Mitchael, Doc, Karson, and Kane, sisters, Agnes Hicks, Voncille Haney, Wanda (Bruce) Rhoden, Rachel Stewart, Marie Combs, and Janie Berryhill, brothers, Gene Combs, L.E. (Sharon) Combs, Mike (Patty) Combs, D.L. (Teresa) Combs, brother-in-law, Carl Wingo and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucious and Erie Fish Combs his sister Sylvia Wingo and Nephews Robert Combs, and Stephen Hicks. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Raiford Road Church with Reverend Richard Fish and Reverend Gene Burnsed officiating. Interment will follow at Taylor Cemetery, Masonic Rites will be conducted by Dawkins Lodge #60. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September, 28, 2016 6-8pm at Raiford Road Chuch.
