Glenna Maker

Ms. Glenna Maker, age 87 of Tallahassee, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Born in Indiana, Ms. Maker was one of nine children. She spent most of her adult life in the Bradenton/Sarasota, Florida area before moving to Tallahassee five years ago. She was a retired title insurance closer who enjoyed going to garage sales and traveling to visit relatives. She is survived by her son: Harold (Jen) Maker of Bradenton; daughter: Barbara Maker of Tallahassee; brother: Nolan (Betty) Gentry of Paris, Indiana; sisters: Millie (Ron) Kinderman of Sellersburg, IN and Evelyn Walker of South Bend, IN; granddaughter: Rachel Maker of Tallahassee; and family poodle: Ichabod. Her family will celebrate her life in a private ceremony, at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny, FL 904-259-4600.
