George Hodges

George O'Brien (Brian) Hodges, age 50, of Macclenny, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012. He was a lifelong resident of Baker County and a small engine mechanic who enjoyed fishing, camping, playing music and singing. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his mother: Carolyn (Ronald) Plymel of Macclenny; brothers: Eddie Hodges Jr.and Denny Hodges of Macclenny, Brad (Alicia) Hodges and Ray (Felicia) Hodges of Glen St. Mary, Steve (Elaine) Hodges, Frankie (Becky) Hodges, and Lee Hodges of Sanderson, Jessie (Wendy) Hodges of Waycross, GA; sister: Lynn Hodges of Macclenny. He was preceded in death by his father Bobby Lee Hodges; brothers: Edward Alvin Hodges Sr. and Russell Oliver Hodges; and sister: Shirley Higginbotham. A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 6:00pm at Glen Friendship Tabernacle with Reverend Albert Starling officiating.
