Geneva Lee Taylor
July 16, 1931 — May 27, 2024
Geneva Lee Taylor, age 92 of Macclenny and previously of St. George, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024 at Baptist Healthcare Downtown. Geneva was raised in Jacksonville and worked for several years in retail, mainly in JC Penny’s. She was a particularly thrifty shopper and loved getting the latest and greatest deals. For the last six years, Geneva was a resident of Macclenny Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and became like family with much of the staff.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Taylor in 1981. She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Bud, Jean, Catherine, and Faye.
She is survived by her sons Randy (Dana) Taylor of Gainesville and Johnny Taylor of Macclenny; grandchildren: Brooke Taylor and Logan Taylor; as well as several close friends and extended family members.
Final memorialization will be by cremation.
