Freddie Morris Reynolds, Jr., age 63 of Moniac passed away at home on Monday, June 3, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born on January 8, 1961 to Mr. Freddie and Linda (Mullins) Reynolds, Sr. He would live the entirety of his life in the Georgia Bend, passing away about a mile from the home he grew up in. He was a graduate of the St. George High School. Mr. Reynolds would work for nearly thirty five years for the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, maintain bus routes around the city.
Best known as “Morris” to his family and friends, he enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. Morris loved to cook and spend time with his family. He was a proud father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his children, Christina (Jason) Powell of Moniac and Candace (Eric) Robinson both of Moniac, and Freddie “Trace” (April) Reynolds, III of Jacksonville; his mother: Linda Mullins of Ocala; grandchildren: Thomas (Lindsey) Powell, Hunter Powell, Sara (Dillon) Carter, Fisher Robinson, Bentley Robinson, Maddox Reynolds, and Paige Byrd; great-grandchildren: Harley Powell, Anna Powell, Maxine Carter, and Jensen Byrd; siblings: Milton Reynolds and Debra (Terry) Linder both of Ocala; a step-brother: Charles Whitner of Macclenny; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
