Mr. Fred Jimmy Wall, age 82 of Jacksonville and formerly of Dexter, Georgia, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016. Mr. Wall was born in Dexter, GA to the late Clarence and Eva Barron Wall. He was a longtime mechanic and bus driver for the Laurens County, Georgia School District before moving to Jacksonville ten years ago. Upon his retirement, Mr. Wall enjoyed traveling in his motor home and riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed cooking barbecue and entertaining friends. He enjoyed music, working on cars, and spending time with his family. Mr. Wall is survived by his sons: Freddie (Cindy) Wall of Jacksonville, Michael (Jeanette) Wall of Buffalo, NY, and David (Donna) Wall of Dexter, GA; daughters: Elysha Hill of Sugar Land, TX and Sandra Samples of Jacksonville; and sisters: Nell Gay of Macon, GA and Jeanette (George) Wynn of Atlanta, GA. Eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and his first wife: Margie Bray of Jacksonville also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife: Erma Wall and brother: Doyle Wall.
