Fount "Sonny" Duncan

Mr. Fount "Sonny" Duncan Jr., age 72 of Jacksonville, went to meet his heavenly father on Thursday, October 26, 2017 after a short stay at St. Vincent's Hospital, followed by hospice. Sonny was born in Fresno, California to the late Lieutenant Colonel, Air Force retired, Fount Duncan and Rosalind Duncan. During his formative years, the Air Force relocated his family to Germany, Louisiana, Florida, and finally to Huntsville, Alabama, where his father worked at Redstone Arsenal after retiring from the Air Force. Sonny was in sales all of his adult life and was a gifted salesman who believed in treating his customers with respect and kindness. He is survived by his sons: Tom (Julie) Duncan of Macclenny and Mike (Donna) Duncan of Tampa; sister: Joanne (Dan) Bohl of Lenoir City, TN; six grandchildren and several other relatives. His family will have a private celebration of his life at a later date.
