Eunnice Padgett

Ms. Eunnice Marie Padgett, age 64 of Jacksonville, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014. A lifelong resident of Duval County, Ms. Padgett was a member of the Normandy Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, flowers, and spending time with her family; especially her grandsons. She is survived by her daughters: Lou Ann (Junior) Lee of Jacksonville and Melissa (Chris) Cope of Auburn, GA; grandsons: Jonathan Albert Padgett, John Herman Lee III, Joshua Cope, Justin (Mercedes) Cope, and Jordan Cope; great-grandson: Maximus Cope; brothers: George Norris of Folkston, GA and Roland (Pat) Norris of Jacksonville; sisters: Mary Gibson of Lawtey, Lily McCormick of Waycross, GA and Emma Lou Drury of Folkston, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty years: Lewis Albert Padgett. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Friday, February 28, 2014 in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home with Reverend Freddie Griffis officiating. Interment will follow at Long Branch Cemetery, Maxville. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm, Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the funeral home.
