Ethel Starling

Ms. Ethel Mae Starling, age 81 of Sanderson, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013. Born in Lawtey, Florida to the late Joe and Sillar Rosier Gunter, Ms. Starling was a 30 year resident of Baker County. Ms. Starling was a member of Glen Friendship Tabernacle and she was a homemaker who loved cooking and sewing. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her son: Donald (Patty) Brantley of Sanderson; sister: Mandy (Mallie) Todd of Worthington Springs; nine grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Neal Starling; son: Tommy Brantley; and daughter: Lory Ann Lauramore. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Friday, September 13, 2013 at Glen Friendship Tabernacle, Glen St. Mary with Pastor Albert Starling officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery, Macclenny. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm, Thursday, September 12 at the church.
