Estelle Thompson

Mrs. Estelle W. Thompson, age 80 of Middleburg, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Mrs. Thompson was a member of Christian Fellowship Temple in Macclenny and a homemaker who loved to sew and do yard work. She also enjoyed reading and traveling. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her sons: Marvin (Janet) Thompson of Maxville and Marty Thompson of Middleburg; daughters: Mary Ann (Reggie) Padgett of Clay Hill, Kathy (Kilby) Murphy of Orange Park and Robin (Terry) Kaszas of Middleburg; brother: L.A. (MaryAnn) Whitehead of Macclenny; sisters: Linda Walker and Margaret Harrison of Jacksonville, and Gertrude Siddle of Texas. Eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty five years: Morris Thompson. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Monday, November 3, 2014 at Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny, with Reverend David Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Manning Cemetery, Jacksonville.
