Elizabeth Diane Taylor

Mrs. Elizabeth Diane Taylor, age 61 of St. George, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Mrs. Taylor was born in Baxter, Florida to Virgil and Virginia Mixon Jewell. She spent the majority of her life in St. George but worked in Macclenny for many years. She was a clerk at the Quick N Handy convenience stores for several years and spent the last nine years working at Walgreens. She was a "people person" and enjoyed interacting with her customers. In her free time, she enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with family, and reading. She is survived by her husband: Johnny Taylor; son: William (Tosha) Rittenhouse of Pennsylvania; daughter: Melissa Rittenhouse of Jacksonville; mother: Virginia Mixon Fontan Santiago of Macclenny; sisters: Jean (Allen) Singletary of St. George and Susie (Marlon) Thompson of Hilliard; brother: Thomas Jewell of Utah; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and brother: Roger Jewell. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
