Elaine Haines

Mrs. Elaine Canady Haines, age 66 of McDonough, Georgia, passed away October 27, 2014. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Alma Elizabeth Garrett and the late Eddie Berry Canady, Jr. Elaine was retired after 28 years in the Film Industry as a Film Booker. She was of the Baptist faith and after retirement had sold antiques at the Peachtree Antique Center. She was an avid gardener and animal lover, she especially loved her dogs. Survivors include her husband, Bill Haines of McDonough, GA; mother, Alma Canady of Macclenny, FL; siblings, Linda Canady of Jacksonville, FL, Gerald Altman of Macclenny, FL and Marvin Altman of Orange Park, FL. Funeral services will be held 3:00pm, Sunday, November 2, 2014 in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny with Elder David Crawford officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery, Macclenny. The family will receive friends at 2:00pm, Sunday at the funeral home.
