Donald Woolfolk, Sr., age 73 of Macclenny, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Community Hospice Alice and T. O’Neal Douglas Center for Caring. Donald was born on August 20, 1951 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, one of fifteen children born to Mr. Carl and Evelyn (Martin) Woolfolk, Sr. Donald would work in the mental health field for several years and while working he met the love of his life, Rachel Spruill.
In his free time, Donald enjoyed gardening, electronics, and fishing. He was a skilled conversationalist and was well rounded on many subjects. He also had a love for science fiction novels and movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Carl Woolfolk, Jr., Gordon Woolfolk, Anthony Woolfolk, and Roger Woolfolk.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rachel Woolfolk of Macclenny; children, Donald Woolfolk, Jr. of South Carolina, Tynisha Allford, Chad Woolfolk, and Christian Woolfolk all of Philadelphia, Alisha Woolfolk of Jacksonville, and Dawn (James) Bowman of Savannah, Georgia; grandchildren, Izabella Cintron, Daniel Cintron, Camille Bowman, Najma Williams, Yoosuf Williams, and Janna Williams; great-grandchildren, Nyla Richards and Ryan Williams; siblings, Julius Woolfolk, Joseph Woolfolk, Vincent Woolfolk, Adrian Baynard-Woolfold, Van Baynard-Woolfolk, Tonya Skief, Yvonne Washington, Jessica Fields, Yolanda Woolfolk, and Teresa Woolfolk; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Final memorialization will be by cremation.
