Diane (Gillespie) Harrell

Diane G. Harrell, age 75 of Sopchoppy passed away peacefully at home, Saturday, August 13, 2022.

She was born on September 4, 1946 to the late Mr. William & Lois Gillespie.

Diane worked for Harrell Brothers Construction. She enjoyed horses and sewing.

She was proceeded in death by her parents: William & Lois Gillespie and grandson: Grayson David Harrell.

She leaves behind to cherish years of memories, her loving husband, Barney Harrell, Jr.; children: Ed Woods of Kentucky, Jeanie (Henry) Barbree of Crawfordville, Greg (Lori) Harrell of Sopchoppy, and Rebecca (Chris) Hewett of Crawfordville; grandchildren, Logan Cook, Mattie Harrell, Gavin and Tristan Hewett; and brother: William Paul Gillespie; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Mount Beasor Primitive Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Elder Bruce Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends at the church at 10:00 AM until the hour of the service. Interment will follow at West Sopchoppy Cemetery.
