Mrs. Debra E. Alexander, age 62 of Sanderson, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018. Originally from Miami, Mrs. Alexander had been a Baker County resident since 2005. She spent many years as an administrative assistant in the shipping/transportation industry. She was also a former manager at Zaxby's, having been employed there since it opened in 2007. Mrs. Alexander was a motorcycle enthusiast and an avid wrestling fan who also enjoyed crafting and quilting. She will be remembered as a straight forward woman with a zest for life and a heart for people. She was happiest when surrounded by friends and family. Mrs. Alexander is survived by her sons: Phillip (Liz) Trinchera of Sterling, Massachusetts and Roger (Tracy) Alexander of Roswell, Georgia; daughter: Sandy (Bobby) Branch of Glen St. Mary; father: Glenn Erne Sr. of Miami; brother: Glenn Erne Jr. of Miami; grandchildren: Kayleigh (Jordan) Ross, Dalton Alexander, Chase Alexander, and Lily Jade Rehill; and a host of friends that cared for her like family. She was preceded in death by her husband: Roger Alexander; and mother: Kathryn Muse Erne. A celebration of her life will be held 11:00am, Saturday, January 13, 2018 in the chapel at Forbes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
