David Crawford

Mr. David R. Crawford Sr., age 63 of Macclenny, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2015. Mr. Crawford was a lifelong Baker County resident and worked in underground utilities until his health began to decline. He will be remembered as someone who was always willing to help a friend, neighbor, or anyone else who was in need. He loved to go fishing and ride in the woods. He especially loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his son: David R. Crawford Jr., of Lake Butler; daughter: Melissa Johnson of Baldwin; mother: Geraldine Hodges of Macclenny; brother: Tommy Crawford of Macclenny; sisters: Joyce (Mark) Dinkins and Nancy (James) Davis all of Macclenny and Judy Harvey of Starke. Three grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his father: Johnnie Crawford. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Monday, December 7, 2015 in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
