Christopher Lander Edwards

Christopher Lander Edwards was born August 14, 1984 in Lake City, Florida and left this world behind on February 7, 2024 after fighting and winning his battle against cancer.

Chris was a chef by trade. He loved to spend time hanging out with family and friends, and also enjoyed live music and bowling.

He is survived by his loving life partner and caregiver, Anita German, son: Kaiden O’Steen, brother: Corbin Edwards (Monica) and two nephews: Cooper and Carter, his mother: Janet Stalvey-Edwards, father: Buddy Hair, brother: Tyler Yates, cousins that are siblings by choice and love: Heather Register (Matthew) and baby Wyatt and Sean Dozier-Stalvey (David), Anita’s son: Noah Schneider (Deaven), a multitude of uncles, aunts, cousins, the entire town of Lake City that loved and supported him through his extended illness and best friends, James Crenshaw, Jonathon White and Matthew Dupree.

In lieu of food or flowers the family asks that donations be directed to Anita as she picks up the pieces and begins to recover from this unexpected loss.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Majestic Oaks Ranch, 118 NW Langford Ct, Lake City, Florida 32055.
