Christopher Eric Combs

Christopher Eric Combs, age 52, of Macclenny passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 2, 2023. Chris was born on September 26, 1971 to the late Henry Dell and Janice (Deloach) Combs and would spend the majority of his life here in Baker County. He loved the outdoors, raising chickens, and going fishing. Chris loved his children and grandchildren and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children: Lewis (Chelsey) Chancy and Christy Combs both of Glen St. Mary, and Courtney (Santiago) Rubio of Macclenny; grandchildren: Kagen, Gotze, Ava, LeAndra, Lilly, Ember, Gavin, and Kason; wife: Tammy Combs; siblings: Kenneth Keast, Crab Combs, Josh Turner, Jr., Mindy Combs, Amanda Combs, and Franny Bennett; as well as extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, October 9, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Community Full Gospel Church with Pastor Tommy Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends at 11:00 AM until the hour of service. Final memorialization will be by cremation and he will late be laid to rest at North Prong Cemetery.
