Chester David Park

Mr. Chester David Park, Jr., age 49 of Glen St. Mary, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Born in Jacksonville, Mr. Park grew up in Baker County and was a 1986 graduate of Baker County High School. He was a plumber/pipefitter by trade and a member of the Plumber and Pipefitter's Union Local 234 in Jacksonville. He enjoyed taking road trips and listening to music. He also enjoyed doing yardwork and watching movies. Mr. Park was a NASCAR fan and an avid Florida Gator and Tim Tebow fan. He will be remembered as a strong-willed, determined man who was loyal to his family and friends. His smile and sense of humor will never be forgotten. He is survived by his wife: Renee Park of Glen St. Mary; sons: Trey Park of Hilliard, Timothy (Jenny) Smith of Jacksonville, and Matthew Smith of Glen St. Mary; daughters: Chloe Park of Hilliard and Santana Brown of Glen St. Mary; father: Buck (Patricia Ann) Park of Macclenny; brother: Timmy (Lori) Park of Lake Butler; sister: Heather (Allen) Markley of Macclenny; grandson: Grayson Park of Hilliard; mother-in-law: Donna Flynn of Glen St. Mary; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by his mother: Cynthia Perez. Funeral services will be held 3:00pm, Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Christian Fellowship Temple, Macclenny, with Pastor David Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
