Mr. Charles A. Pipkins, age 41 of Starke and formerly of Macclenny, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Charles was born in Macclenny to the late Alvin and Frankie Cruce Pipkins. He attended Baker County schools and was a Baker County resident until moving to Bradford County two years ago. Charles was a drywall installer most of his life but spent some time as a manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts and Aaron's Own It in Macclenny. He spent many years as a coach for local little league sports, including football, baseball and basketball. He enjoyed working on cars, cooking, and watching football. Charles was an avid Miami Hurricane fan. He enjoyed attending church at Smyrna Baptist in Starke, where he was a member. He is survived by his wife: Erica Pipkins; sons: Treston Pipkins of Starke and Michael Donley of Texas; daughter: Allysa Pipkins of Starke; brothers: Levi (Rena) Pipkins of Glen St. Mary, Danny (Pia) Dugger of Boynton Beach, and Matthew Lindsey of Macclenny; sisters: Chrystal Pipkins of Glen St. Mary, Megan (Jeremy) Wicker of Orange Park, and Michelle Crews of Baxter. A celebration of his life will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Smyrna Baptist Church, Starke, Florida with Pastor Charles Starling officiating.
