Celibeth Prall Mayer

Celibeth Prall Mayer, age 60, passed away on December 7, 2024, due to complications following surgery. Her sudden departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her. 

Celibeth was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife, deeply cherished by her family and friends. She is survived by her devoted children, Jessica and Michael, her adoring grandson, Christopher, and her beloved husband, Chris. Celibeth was a warm, kind, and selfless soul who brought light into the lives of those around her. Her family was the center of her world, and she took immense joy in watching her children grow into adults and in spending time with her grandson, whom she adored.

Celibeth’s love for God was at the core of who she was. She faithfully walked in His light, finding peace and strength in her relationship with Him. Her unwavering faith sustained her through every challenge, and she lived her life with the knowledge that she was always in God's care. Celibeth now rests in His loving arms, where she is rejoicing in Heaven, free from pain and surrounded by His eternal love. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and we take comfort in knowing she is in a better place. 

A  memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home. Family will be receiving friends at 3:30 PM.
