Mrs. Cecile R. Lovette, age 75 of Live Oak, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017. She was a long time resident of the Cape Coral/Fort Myers area before moving to Live Oak in 2006. Mrs. Lovette enjoyed playing Bingo, traveling, gardening, baking, and sewing. She also enjoyed attending church and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Lovette will be remembered as easy to get along with but also had a feisty, independent side. She had a smile that would light up a room. She loved her children, her cat, Butterball and her dog, Princess. She is survived by her children: Debra (Phil) Baker of North Dakota, Sam (Dawn) Badger of Lehigh, Florida, Kim (Rick) Goodwin of Glen St. Mary, Eli (Casey) Badger Oklahoma, and Joel (Lauren) Badger of New York; sister: Jean (Ray) Gervis of Orlando; nineteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and her best friend: Millie Brookins of Live Oak. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty years: Robert Lovette; parents: William and Blanche Smith Lemay; granddaughter: Candace Baker; and sister: Arlene Hoyt.
