Cathy Fay Lee

Cathy Fay Lee, 62 of Callahan and a Baker county native, passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 at Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside. Cathy was born in Lake Butler on January 19, 1958 to the late Mr. Charlie Ray and Ms. Mattie Lou (Miley) Ray. She worked for many years in retail and spent over five years with Wal Mart in Macclenny. In her spare time, she enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the birds and enjoying her coffee. She also enjoyed tending to her plants. Most of all, Ms. Cathy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

Ms. Cathy was preceded in death by her dad: Charlie Ray; her step-father: Mack Reynolds; brothers: Danny Ray, Charlie Ray, and Johnny Ray; and sisters: Penny Jernigan and Nancy Johns.

She leaves behind to cherish years of memories: her daughters: Emma (Dale) Anderson, Mary Geiger and SenSueRae Willis both of Sanderson; fourteen grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; mother: Mattie Lou Ray of Cuyler; brothers: Billy Ray, Ricky Ray, and Randy Ray; sisters: Diane Crews, Vernel Chesser, Linda Raulerson, and Sandy Nichols; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Ms. Cathy’s Life will be held Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home.
