Carolyn Parker

Mrs. Carolyn H. Parker, age 74 of Bryceville, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016. Mrs. Parker was a forty year Bryceville resident and a member of the Bryceville Community Club. She was an administrative assistant at Vystar Credit Union for twenty five years. Upon her retirement, she became a sunday school teacher and the church secretary at Bryceville First Baptist Church, where she was a member. Mrs. Parker enjoyed watching birds from her back porch and listening to her nephews play bluegrass music. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty three years: Donald Parker Sr.; son: Donald (Tammy) Parker Jr. of Bryceville; daughter: Rebecca (Alan) Anderson of Callahan; and grandchildren: Andy Anderson, Duane Anderson, Ashley Parker and Donovan Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents: Dredon and Virgie Thomas Hines and brothers: Melvin Hines, Murl Hines, J.M. Hines, Tommy Hines, and Cecil Hines. Funeral services will be held 12:00pm, Monday, May 2, 2016 at Bryceville First Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Yerby and Brother Richard Fish officiating. Burial will take place at 3:00pm at New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Brooker, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
