Carlin Eugene Mobley

Mr. Carlin Eugene “Buddy” Mobley, age 64 of Glen St. Mary passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Orange Park Hospital. He was born in Macclenny on June 20, 1958 to the late Carley and Betty (Norman) Mobley. Buddy would work as a plumber for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed the outdoors, watching NASCAR races, and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, numerous aunts and uncles, and a grandson: Owen Altman.

He is survived by his daughters: Amanda Gullatt of LaGrange, GA and Sandra Fay Mobley of Jacksonville; grandchildren: Lorelynn Gullatt, Brantley Bryant, Logan Thornton, and Trenton Thornton; aunts and uncles that were more like siblings: Janice (Donnie) Griffis, Linda (Raiford) Martin, Doug (Patricia) Mobley, Henry Mobley, and Russell Norman; as well as extended family members and friends.

Memorialization will be by cremation with a celebration of life at a later date.
