Brenda Whitfield

Mrs. Brenda Jean Whitfield, age 65 of Crawfordville, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015. She was a homemaker and took great joy in being a wife and mother. As the daughter of a minister, she enjoyed attending church, music, and playing piano. She loved traveling to the mountains and to the beach. Mrs. Whitfield enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband: Lester Whitfield; daughter: Tina (David) Kelley of Jerrabomberra, Australia; step-daughter: Melissa Whitfield Hoover of Las Cruces, NM; sister: Wanda (Allen) Bechtelheimer of Dade City, FL; niece: Tabitha Taylor of Fairbanks, AK; and nephew: Russell (Amy) Taylor of New Port Richey, FL. Four grandchildren and numerous other family members also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Reverend William and Frances Flury and daughter: Jennifer Grantham. A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, November 16, 2015 at Good News Assembly of God, Crawfordville, Florida with Reverend Todd Jackson officiating.
