Bobbie Adams

Bobbie Maddox Adams, 77, of Glen St. Mary, died March 29, 2011 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by father Emory Maddox, mother Varena Nole, her brothers Walter and Gene Maddox. Survivors include husband Tom Adams; sons Dewey (Sharon) Adams, Philip (Kathy) Adams, Robert Adams, Eddie Adams, Walter (Christine) Adams; daughter Amanda Morris, all of Baker County; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the residence, 12531 W. Confederate Dr., Glen St. Mary, Friday, April 1 starting at noon. A memorial service will be held at Forbes Funeral Home on April 2 at 2:00 pm with Prophet James McGee of Voice of a Prophet Revival Tabernacle of Jacksonville officiating. Eastern Star Rites will be performed by the Baldwin O.E.S. Chapter 171. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Following the service, all friends are invited to the home for food and fellowship. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Community Hospice, 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32257 or to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607-1460.
