Berry Floyd “Timer” Rhoden, Jr., age 70 passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Kindred Hospital following an extended illness. Berry was the son of Berry F. and Faye Claudine (Brown) Rhoden, Sr., born June 14, 1954 and went on to graduate from Baker County High School and eventually Lake City Community College.
Berry enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing in his spare time. He worked for many years as a skilled plumber and pipefitter, a member of Local 234. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge Dawkins #60.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Dean Rhoden.
He is survived by his children, Berry “Trey” (Eleina) Rhoden III of Fleming Island and Summer Rhoden of Macclenny; grandchildren, Chesney, Anniston, Parker, Paislie, Ryker and Rowdie; sisters, Connie Rhoden (Tommy) McGlew of Macclenny and Rebecca Rhoden (Marshall) Ogletree of Tallahassee; as well as extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 1:00 PM at North Prong Cemetery.
