Bernice Whitehead

Ms. Bernice J. Whitehead, age 67 of Macclenny, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014. A lifelong resident of Baker County, Ms. Whitehead was born to the late Harley and Victoria Hodges Raulerson. She enjoyed fishing and gardening. She loved owls. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons: David (Audrey) Whitehead and Robert (Regina) Whitehead all of Middleburg; daughter: Angela (Johnnie) Crump of Keystone Heights; sister: Glenda (Escoe) Starling of Macclenny; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, July 23, 2014 in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home with Reverend Allen Crews officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Macclenny. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of FORBES FUNERAL HOME, Macclenny, 259-4600.
