Barbara Miner

Mrs. Barbara G. Miner, age 67 of Sanderson, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015. Mrs. Miner was born in New Jersey to the late Roy and Ethel Castner. She was a true lover of animals and always had an open heart for any animal in need. She was an avid reader and had an extensive collection of novels. Her many hobbies included crocheting and gaming. She is survived by her loving husband: Fred Miner of Sanderson; son: Roy Miner of Delray Beach, FL; daughter: Samantha (Thomas) Quinn of Charleston, SC ; granddaughters: Abigail and EmmaGrace Quinn of Charleston, SC; sisters: Madeline Glover of Atlanta and Darlene Young of Arizona; nieces: Jennifer Jones White of Atlanta and Danielle Young of New York; and nephew: Keith Jones of Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers: Lee Castner and Gregory Castner. A celebration of her life will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Taylor Church, Sanderson with Pastor Jim Cox officiating.~ "Do not let your hearts be troubled.
