Arnold Maywood Crowder, Jr., age 77 of Baldwin passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Ascension St. Vincent’s Clay Hospital. He was born on June 18, 1944 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Mr. Arnold and Helen (Peters) Crowder, Sr. Mr. Arnold worked for many years as a mechanic and enjoyed tinkering. He loved his time on the open road, riding his motorcycle with his wife or going to the mud bog. Arnold was one of the best friends you could ask for and was always putting others first. He loved his family dearly and will be remembered as an honest man and a hard worker.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife of thirty-six years: Mrs. Sherryl Crowder.

He is survived by his children: Patrick Crowder of Keystone Heights, Arnold “Woody” Crowder III of Alabama, and Patricia Roesler of Jacksonville; step-children: Jimmy (Rachel) Peele of St. George and Sandy Peele of Hurt, Virginia; grandchildren: Christa Barber, Caitlyn Crowder, Colton Crowder, Alyssa Roesler, Travis Roseler, Katie Grieau, Jimmy (Amber) Peele, Jr., and Amanda (Daniel) Gifford; brothers: Jeff Crowder of Louisiana, Tom Crowder of New Mexico, and Eddie Crowder of Ohio; sisters: Kathy Hall of Middleburg, Diane Campo of Louisiana, and Betty Flure of West Virginia; as well as extended family members.

Final memorialization will be by cremation.
