Anthony Glenn Roberts, age 43, of Macclenny passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013. A lifelong resident of Baker County, Mr. Roberts was a member of the Glen Hill Primitive Baptist Church. He was a United States Army Veteran who proudly served in Operation Desert Storm. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife: Judy Ann Roberts; sons: Joshua (Jessie) Roberts of Hawaii, Blake Roberts, Blaine Roberts, and Hunter Roberts all of Glen St. Mary; step-sons: Dustin Flick and Bradley Flick both of Macclenny; step-daughter: Karla (Wesley) Thomas of Raiford; father: Glenn Roberts of Macclenny; mother: Linda (Stanley) Monds of Glen St. Mary; brother: Robbie Roberts of Macclenny; sisters: Taryn (Ricky) Dugger of Glen St. Mary, Doree (Daryl) Mobley of Macclenny, and Amy Roberts of Jacksonville. Three grandchildren and numerous other family members also survive. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Alicia Roberts and Tracy Lynn Roberts and step-brother: Scotty Monds. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm, Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the Glen Hill Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Arnold Johns officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
