Annie Mae Florene "Flo" Bass Nason, 77 of Starke passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Governor's Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Green Cove Springs.
Flo was born in Jacksonville on January 15, 1942 to the late Mr. William and Lucille McKinley.
Ms. Flo was a resident of Bradford County for over twenty-five years, spending a few years in Oregon in between her times residing in Starke. She loved her family, especially spending time with her grandson and new great-granddaughter. She enjoyed traveling and could often be found with her nose in a crossword puzzle book. She will be remembered as a kind, loving woman who would give to other, even if it meant she had to go without.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves behind her husband: Mr. Robert "Bob" Nason of Starke; sons: Lee (Dee) Bass of Callahan and David (Christy) Bass of Springfield, Oregon; stepson: Robert (Brenda) Nason of Woodbine, Georgia; grandsons: Kevin (Taylor) Vining of Jacksonville and David Bass Jr. of Springfield, Oregon; great-granddaughter: "Pumpkin Head"; as well numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
