Anita Gail Rowe

Ms. Anita Gail Rowe, age 55 of Glen St. Mary, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 after an extended illness.
Ms. Rowe was born in Jacksonville, Florida on December 27, 1962 to the late Mr. Lacy and Betty (Willis) Anderson.
Ms. Anita was a lifelong resident of Baker County and often attended Road to Calvary Church in Glen St. Mary. She worked in the retail industry for many years and most notably worked as a store clerk at WalMart. In her free time, Ms. Rowe enjoyed reading and watching movies, as well keeping up with friends and family on Facebook. She enjoyed living a private and quiet life. For several years, Ms. Anita was an active member of the Baker County Historical Society. She also had a love for cats and had several over the years that she adored. She will be remembered for her quirky sense of humor.
Ms. Rowe is survived by her brother: Mikell (JoAnna) Anderson of Glen St. Mary; and also by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Debbie Bonomassa.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11:00 am, at First United Methodist Church, Macclenny. Family will receive friends at 10:30 am at the church. Reverend Tommy Anderson will be officiating the services. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny. 904-259-4600.
