Aline “Lin” Pauline Boisvert, age 64 of Tallahassee passed away peacefully Monday, September 11, 2023 at her home on Lake Talquin. Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on March 17, 1959, Lin was the daughter of the late Roger and Muriel (Vadeboncouer) Boisvert. She would serve her country proudly with the United States Army as a paratrooper and go on to a lengthy career with the United States Postal Service until her retirement.
In her free time, Lin enjoyed spending time with family and friends on the lake. In her younger years, she was an avid cyclist. Above all, Lin enjoyed the time she spent with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves behind her wife of eight years: Mrs. Kellie McIntosh of Tallahassee; a daughter: Shelby (Robert) Hoisington of Tallahassee; grandchildren: Peyton, Kilan, and Casey; siblings: David (Gail) Boisvert of Maine, Roland Boisvert of Rhode Island, and Ann (Doug) Meunier of New Mexico; mother and father-in-law: Linda and Charles Barwick; nephews: Chris (Aubrey) Boisvert, Colin (Jena) Boisvert, and Bryan Porter; nieces: Eva Kilpatrick, Beverly Webster, and Jordan (Eric) Smith; brothers-in-law: Bobby (Lorraine) Porter, Alec Porter, and Isadore Porter; and close friend: Deborah Helm.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and final memorialization will be by cremation. She will be laid to rest in St. James Cemetery in Manville, Rhode Island.
