Ms. Alice Ceretha Gray, age 77 of Macclenny, FL went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 14,2012 with family and friends by her side. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, working outdoors, taking trips to Biloxi to gamble, and most of all spending time with her family. After working many years as a correctional officer she retired to travel and take care of her husband, Frank. Ms. Gray is survived by her son: Kenneth Clyde Watts of Gainesville, FL; brothers: Fred (Sharon) Wood of Wetumpka, AL and Bobby (Barbara) Wood of Gainesville, FL; son-in-law: Bryan Mobley of Macclenny, FL; grandchildren: Joel (Beverly) Lauramore of Macclenny, FL, Ceretha Alexander of Atlanta, GA and Denise (Don) Weddle of Sanderson, FL; and great grandchildren: Dalton, Chase, and Jordan. She was preceded in death by her husband: Franklin Gray, father: Joel Marvin Wood, brother: JM Wood, and only daughter: Deborah Mobley of Macclenny. Alice was many things: a wife, sister, and mother but most importantly she was Nana to everyone she met! Along with her own grandchildren, Alice was Nana to Ricky, Vance, Dena, Rocky, Landon and many others. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm, Saturday, November 17, 2012 in the Forbes Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery, Macclenny.
