Alan Derrell Stokes

Mr. Alan Derrell Stokes, age 52, of Live Oak passed away on August 19, 2018 at his residence. He was born on September 7, 1965 in Hollywood, FL to the late Mr. Earl and Evelyn Stokes.
A former concrete worker, Mr. Stokes also spent time working as a security guard in the Miami area. He was a resident of Live Oak for the last 3 years, previously living in Hallandale, FL. He loved spending time with family and was known to be a caring, devoted father. In his free time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR and football. He was an avid fan of Jeff Gordon and the Miami Hurricanes and Dolphins.
Mr. Alan is survived by his sons: Thomas and Michael Stokes both of Live Oak; brothers: Rick (Alicia) Stokes of High Springs and Marcus (Debbie) Stokes of Plant City; sisters: Sylvia (Charles) Fidler of High Springs and Holly Hudson of Ft. Lauderdale; and also multiple nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers: Jim Hudson and Ronald Stokes.
